Rural communities face increasing challenges to their economies, personal health, environmental health, food security, housing, and infrastructure. Our multidisciplinary research teams and programs will work within communities to identify the factors impairing their wellbeing and deploy new programs and practices to build stronger, more vibrant communities.
The Community Wellbeing Flagship Constellation Mini-Conference will be held January 17, 2018, in Grenada, Mississippi, with the purpose of sharing information on initiatives through a general meeting and three-minute presentations, followed by sub-constellation breakout discussions. The event will be held from 10 am – 3 pm with in person and online participation options. Lunch will be provided for Grenada attendees.
Participation in the Constellation and the Mini-Conference is open to all who are interested, but pre-registration for the event is required. Please register by 5 pm on December 8. If you would like to deliver a three-minute presentation, please include a title and 150 word abstract as part of the registration.
