Bringing together the brightest minds to cast light upon the issues of our time
From big data to food deserts, disaster preparedness to brain injury recovery, these complicated issues demand collaborative thinking. The UM Flagship Constellation initiative launches a multidisciplinary response to inspire and accelerate meaningful solutions.
The University of Mississippi and the UM School of Engineering hosted an Infrastructure Objective Resilience Workshop on the Oxford campus March 27-28.
Partnering with the university for the workshop were the National Institute of Building Sciences, the Engineering Mechanics Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Argonne National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
